I'd planned something plastic looking and easy to maintain for Reading festival but unfortunately what I'd originally planned just didn't work. after a good few minutes sulking, my very patient boy pointed out that I had rolls of rexlace doing nothing at home - problem solved.

I'd originally wanted something red to match my hair, but the neon pink rexlace is actually quite red toned. so in that went, along with some nite glow. I tied tons of the stuff in to try to avoid the 'plastic just hanging off your real hair' look as much as I could. I also braided some of it into my dreads [Kohl has real dreads under all that - Ed] to keep them weighed down - it actually pulled them into quite funky wiggly shapes. but I digress ..

I also attached a bit of fishtank tubing that I'd bought, and stuffed rexlace down the middle to give it a pink glow. I liked the variety in thickness, and think I'll have a go using thicker tubing all round sometime soon.
