the plastic weft is basically an old human hair weft that was too short for my hair now ( i used to wrap it round my bunchies to make BIG hair). i braided the whole thing with bits of rexlace, then tied more bits of rexlace onto the braids - exactly the same way you'd do plastic extensions really.

I put my dreads up in a really, REALLY high ponytail, folded my plastic weft so it was the same width as the ponytail and pinned it to the base of the ponytail (instead of wrapping it around the ponytail - soes this make sense?) then I grabbed handfuls of dreads and plastic and Ited 3 big knots - on in the centre of my head, and one on either side. then I arranged the plastic so it fell where I wanted it to and pinned in place. The result - GIANT hair!
