Electrokitty says: I started out by braiding 18-20 braids of light pink and fuchsia hair to a rubber band, creating a pony fall. I sealed the ends of the braids with hot glue, and then I followed Lisa's example of tying different color rexlacing, (which i bought at the local craft store for less than $12) in random intervals down the braid. I used pink, clear, silver holographic, fuchsia, and glow- in-the-dark lacing, which glows like crazy under a blacklight. You want to tie shorter pieces at the top of each braid and increase the length the further down the braid you go. Then you just attach them as you would a regular ponyfall. *Make sure you double knot the lacing to avoid pieces falling out while dancing* Estimated time: 2-3 hours. Estimated cost: less than $20. |
