I was really bored with my hair so I decided to try something new.... This is my first attempt at trying a plastic-leaf hairdo.
I dyed my own hair with Directions Turquoise and since I've never found good dark turquoise loose extension hair I blended my own by mixing green, blue, sky and a little bit of purple Stargazer hair. I heat-sealed this extension hair to the front part of my hair (first time using my Pro-Styles clamp on myself, it was difficult to begin with). After this I braided the hair at the back of my head with Pony Lace in all the blue and green colours I've got. At the base of each braid I've added a double plastic leaf that I've cut out of transparent blue and green plastic. This "double leaf" is braided into each braid so I can't remove them until I take all the braids at the back out.
As usual I'm not quite finished with my hair yet, I'm going to tie a lot more plastic lace to the braids, but I think it looks pretty cool already. I get a lot of attention when I go outside, but I like this hair so much that I don't mind at all.
I sleep with all the plastic in because it's lightweight and bendable. However I'm a bit worried that I'll bend them out of shape if I sleep with them for several nights so I'm thinking about making a "sleeping cap" to wear at night.
