Atropa did these dreads on Sara. She says: These dreads were made with regular old Jumbo Braid and I did them basically the same way Kathryn explains on her site for wrapped dreads. I braided the top part of Sara's own hair (the first few inches) with the Jumbo braid, and twisted the ends of her natural hair. I then wrapped this braid/twist (twice) with only some of the JB that gets left loose at the top. The part that I didn't use to wrap, I dreaded. I use a heat gun to fixate the dreads but this time I sprayed them with a bit of water first. I'm not sure how to explain this so you understand, but I twisted Sara's own hair and placed it under the wrapped part of the dread so it's completely protected (it was pure improvisation, but it works really well).
