Lisa says: "Take human hair wefts & cut the hair off. (I suppose you could use fake hair as well, but I havent tried it) Take a chunk about as thick as your finger, and use a little latex hair bonding glue to hold it together at the top.
Sew this end to a small rubber band or hair elastic. Rat, tease, knot & roll the hair into basic dreadlock shape (Doesn't have to be perfect, as the hair dreads up more as you wear it.) Put your real hair into a bunch of tiny braids. I sectioned them off into quarter sized bits, but your mileage may vary. Take a dread, and attach it to the barid at the base, using the elastic band you sewed it to. And thats it!

At the time I had about 40 black, blue & green dreads attached to a mohawk strip of real hair. I redid them after about a month of wear, cuz my scalp was feeling grody. I had them in for a little over 2 months, total. Now they are in a bag, waiting for their next use."
